When what you’re doing isn’t working to address depression, anxiety, anger, or any number of other feelings, an exercise checking in with yourself may be in order. Often, ignoring these feelings is part of the barrier to your well-being. Counselling can help with monitoring the volume of your feelings, regulating your reactions, and responding constructively.

Furthermore, emotional and psychological stressors don’t happen in isolation. Usually, they impact those around us, and are impacted by others. Connecting with yourself on a more positive level may be part of connecting with others on healthier ground.

My approach is always to take the position of collaborator, honouring your expertise on your experience, and maintaining a safe and confidential forum. Together with my clients, I help unpack stressors and untangle complicated issues that interfere with your sense of order.
